Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor 15+ warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and performance targets are met
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Manage inventory control systems, including cycle counts and reconciliation processes
- Optimize warehouse layout and material flow to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling and loading/unloading
- Train staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) and safety procedures
- Generate daily/weekly performance reports for operational improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse/supervisory experience with proven leadership track record
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong problem-solving abilities and data-driven decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills with ability to train and motivate diverse teams
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in logistics preferred
