Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in receiving, storage, and shipping processes.
- Supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to foster a high-performance culture.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize shrinkage.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation departments to optimize shipping schedules and resolve delivery issues.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and machinery, scheduling necessary repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Prepare operational reports, analyze productivity metrics, and implement strategies to improve workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role within the logistics industry.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
- Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as Manhattan, SAP, or Oracle.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
