Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and supervise 15+ staff members, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety protocols
- Implement lean principles to optimize storage capacity and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance documentation
- Collaborate with logistics team to coordinate inbound/outbound shipments
- Utilize WMS systems for inventory tracking and reporting
- Resolve operational issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervision experience in a fast-paced environment
- OSHA 30 certification and forklift operation credentials
- Proficiency in WMS software (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong leadership abilities with team development experience
- Knowledge of lean methodologies and inventory control systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- High school diploma; associate's degree preferred
