Responsibilities
- Lead 10-15 member warehouse team in daily operations including receiving, storage, and shipping
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety standards and cold chain protocols
- Optimize inventory control systems and conduct cycle counts
- Train staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Coordinate with transportation team for timely deliveries
- Monitor KPIs: order accuracy, throughput rates, and inventory turnover
- Resolve operational issues and escalate as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in cold chain or logistics
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work in 32°F (-0°C) refrigerated environments
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Alaska residency required for local hiring
