Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Coordinate receiving, storage, and shipping operations to maintain optimal inventory flow
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and implement warehouse safety protocols
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Manage inventory control systems and conduct regular cycle counts
- Prepare daily/weekly reports on productivity, inventory levels, and operational metrics
- Resolve operational issues and maintain equipment functionality
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with team leadership responsibilities
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Forklift certification and knowledge of material handling equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
