Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 12-15 warehouse associates with performance coaching
- Implement lean principles to optimize workflow and reduce operational costs
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system reconciliations
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient dock scheduling and material handling
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced logistics environments
- Forklift certification and proficiency with WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan)
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proven track record in team leadership and conflict resolution
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred
