Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, assigning daily tasks and maintaining performance standards
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols, ensuring zero-accident compliance
- Optimize inventory control systems, including cycle counts and stock reconciliation
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient inbound/outbound shipment processing
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance scheduling
- Train and develop team members on operational procedures and safety standards
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with supervisory responsibilities
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory management software
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make quick operational decisions
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Forklift certification and material handling equipment expertise
- High school diploma; associate's degree in logistics preferred
