Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping processes
- Train and manage 10-15 warehouse staff to ensure safety protocols and performance standards
- Implement inventory control systems using WMS software to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency to meet 95+ on-time delivery targets
- Conduct safety audits and OSHA compliance monitoring with zero-tolerance policy
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics activities with transportation and purchasing teams
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in cold chain or logistics environment
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator certification required
- Proficiency with WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management software
- Proven track record in team leadership and conflict resolution
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret KPIs and operational metrics
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and work in refrigerated environments
- Associates degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent preferred
