Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move refrigerated products between storage zones
- Maintain precise temperature monitoring in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Execute FIFO inventory rotation and stock rotation protocols
- Conduct quality inspections on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards in all procedures
- Utilize WMS systems for inventory tracking and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and reporting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification required
- Ability to work in sub-freezing environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail in inventory management systems
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for WMS operations
- Spanish bilingual preferred for diverse team collaboration
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
