Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, assigning daily tasks and monitoring productivity
- Ensure accurate inventory management and cycle counting procedures
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free workspace
- Optimize warehouse layout and material flow for maximum efficiency
- Train and mentor staff on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Coordinate with logistics team for timely shipping/receiving processes
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse operations
- Generate performance reports and address operational bottlenecks
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management or supervisory experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory software
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends during peak seasons
- High school diploma or GED; associate's degree preferred
- Basic math and analytical skills for inventory tracking
