Responsibilities
- Manage weekend warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Supervise team of 5-8 associates during peak weekend shifts
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
- Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate inventory records
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless weekend loading/unloading
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance
- Train new weekend staff on warehouse procedures
- Submit performance reports and operational metrics weekly
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse or logistics experience required
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong leadership experience with proven team management skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work weekends (Fri-Sun) and overtime as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
