Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse environments
- Load/unload freight trucks and organize inventory in designated zones
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Collaborate with weekend team to optimize operational efficiency
- Assist in cross-departmental tasks as needed during peak hours
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (current or obtainable within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience in fast-paced settings
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for 8-hour shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety-first practices
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Sat/Sun, 6AM-2PM)
- Valid Florida driver's license preferred
