Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and loading docks
- Load/unload trucks with precision while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain clean, organized workspace following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with weekend team to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting activities
- Uphold strict safety protocols for material handling operations
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts, 6am-6pm)
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Reliable transportation to Charlotte industrial area
