Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision to load/unload shipments and organize warehouse inventory
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and conduct pre/post-shift equipment inspections
- Collaborate with weekend receiving team to verify inbound shipments against manifests
- Optimize warehouse layout through strategic pallet stacking and inventory rotation
- Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory movements and update records
- Assist in monthly cycle counts and inventory reconciliation processes
- Support cross-functional weekend operations including order picking and staging
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license with 1+ years recent experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with proven inventory management skills
- Flexibility to work Friday-Sunday shifts (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) with potential overtime
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse technology systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced team environment
- Clean driving record and pre-employment background check clearance
- Preferred: Experience with RF scanners and AS/RS systems
