Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration monitoring systems
- Inspect and document product integrity during loading/unloading
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards at all times
- Perform inventory counts using warehouse management software
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for efficient logistics
- Sanitize equipment and facilities to meet food safety standards
- Report equipment malfunctions to maintenance team promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly with proper technique
- Valid Texas driver's license preferred
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
