Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and stage freight safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Verify incoming and outgoing inventory against packing lists to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all OSHA and company safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads to prioritize tasks and meet daily production goals.
- Assist in cycle counting and stock rotation to ensure inventory integrity.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) regarding material handling and warehouse organization.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various temperature conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not always required.
