Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized materials within warehouse and yard areas
- Load/unroll trucks with precision while adhering to weight distribution and stacking protocols
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain organized inventory zones and support cycle count initiatives
- Comply with OSHA safety standards and company SOPs at all times
- Collaborate with weekend receiving/shipping teams to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Document material movements using warehouse management systems
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA/ITP certified preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating counterbalance and reach forklifts
- Ability to work Saturday/Sunday shifts (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM or 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness in busy environments
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Clear communication skills and teamwork orientation
