Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to efficiently move palletized goods in a 50,000 sq ft warehouse
- Perform daily equipment safety checks and report maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using barcode scanning systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company material handling procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet weekend shipping/receiving deadlines
- Assist in warehouse organization and cycle count activities
- Train new part-time staff on equipment operation and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or equivalent certification
- Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse material handling environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation and order verification
- Strong attention to detail with commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
