Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on all forklifts and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper labeling of stock.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize warehouse flow and productivity.
- Assist in the organization of pallets and storage areas to ensure maximum space utilization.
- Handle heavy lifting and material handling duties as required by the shift.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class B or C) is required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Strong understanding of basic safety regulations and material handling procedures.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
