Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and safety checks on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Stock and organize inventory with precision, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper labeling.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Assist in the movement of pallets and heavy materials using pallet jacks and other warehouse tools.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and paperwork.
- Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday).
