Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and stage merchandise using forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
- Inventory Control: Accurately check, sort, and organize incoming and outgoing stock to maintain high inventory accuracy.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare orders for shipment by packaging items securely and applying correct shipping labels.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of stock movement and daily logs.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable for weekend shifts.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to count, add, and subtract basic numbers for inventory checks.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- License: Valid Forklift certification (preferred but not mandatory).
