Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks and containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Control: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders to meet daily production targets.
- Temperature Maintenance: Monitor and record temperature logs to ensure perishable goods remain within safe storage parameters.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Equipment Care: Perform routine inspection and basic maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Cold Tolerance: Ability to work comfortably in environments ranging from 30°F to 40°F.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, cold storage, or logistics environment is preferred.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and history of punctual attendance.
- Documentation: Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting and the ability to operate standard warehouse machinery.
