Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely operate material handling equipment to load and unload trucks in compliance with safety regulations.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan and track inventory using handheld scanners to ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Pallet Organization: Stack and organize pallets in designated areas, ensuring proper weight distribution and stability.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Temperature Monitoring: Regularly check and record temperature logs to ensure product integrity and compliance with food safety standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in cold environments.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to inventory accuracy.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid driver’s license or state ID.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
