Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move pallets and materials within the cold storage facility using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and ship orders to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and inventory accuracy.
- Temperature Control Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the integrity of the cold storage environment to ensure product quality.
- Sanitation & Hygiene: Adhere to strict safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Process inbound and outbound shipments efficiently and adhere to all labeling and documentation standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment to prevent downtime.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not required (on-the-job training provided).
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a cold environment.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
- Documentation: Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a background check.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to operate warehouse machinery (Forklift certification a plus).
