Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (reach trucks, pallet jacks) to move, stack, and retrieve materials efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload trucks in a timely manner, ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper organization of stock in the warehouse.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff regarding inventory needs.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- License: Valid Driver’s License (Class B or C).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Background: Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
