Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, locate, and relocate stock within the warehouse.
- Load and unload freight from trailers and trucks, ensuring accurate inventory counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Perform regular inventory checks, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies strictly.
- Assist in organizing pallets and ensuring efficient storage layouts.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding stock levels and potential issues.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
