Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely and efficiently drive forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and organization.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage before and after transport, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of movements and handling of goods using warehouse management software.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating industrial forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license (Class C) required.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
