Job Summary
The Forklift Operator will be responsible for the safe operation of industrial vehicles to move, locate, and stack merchandise. You will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that our distribution center runs efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load and unload trucks and move materials within the facility.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Inspect equipment for any mechanical issues before operation and report maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- Ability to pass a forklift certification exam (we provide training for qualified candidates).
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and data entry.
- Physically fit to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
