Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate stock counts, cycle counts, and maintain organized storage areas to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with strict attention to detail and speed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine safety checks on warehouse equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including packing lists and shipping logs, accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be available to work overnight shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Equipment Certification: Current forklift certification is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory and order processing.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
