Responsibilities
- Process Orders: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Verify product quantities and quality to ensure accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as required by training and certification.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
- Shipping & Receiving: Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow associates to optimize workflow and resolve any discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred but not always required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a proven track record of punctuality and attendance.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy and maintain focus in a fast-paced setting.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
