Responsibilities

- Analyze quantum computing applications and biotech convergence opportunities for commercial viability
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives on post-2026 market disruptions
- Produce white papers and thought leadership on sustainable infrastructure futures
- Interface with DARPA and EU Horizon Europe initiatives on emerging technology governance
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent research experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight at top-tier consulting firms or R&D labs
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on emerging technology impact
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Fluency in horizon scanning tools like Delphi method and STEEP analysis
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Shell's Two Degrees)
