Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps across AI, biotech, and quantum computing domains
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Design and execute innovation sprints with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Present strategic futures to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track emerging technology adoption
- Author thought leadership publications and conference presentations
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for experimental projects
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic planning or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in emerging technology forecasting and scenario planning
- Strong background in AI, biotechnology, or quantum systems
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive experience
- Published thought leadership in futures/innovation journals
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Experience managing cross-functional global teams
