Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and societal trends to forecast 2026+ industry shifts
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Lead innovation workshops with executive stakeholders to align on future vision
- Author strategic whitepapers on disruptive market opportunities
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish KPIs for tracking strategic adoption of emerging paradigms
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership events
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurist research
- Proven track record of successful 5+ year strategic forecasting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, CFIP)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or industry disruption
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguity
