Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technology verticals (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Analyze global trend data to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market landscape
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with long-term business objectives
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of futurists and domain experts
- Present strategic frameworks to investors and board members securing $10M+ innovation budgets
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services post-2020
- Expertise in emerging technologies (GenAI, Web3, sustainable tech) and their societal impacts
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or relevant technical field
- Strong data modeling and scenario planning capabilities using tools like Trend Hunter or Gartner
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into compelling narratives
