Responsibilities
- Sort and Process Merchandise: Utilize handheld scanners and barcode scanners to accurately sort and process inbound and outbound packages.
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and powered jacks to move heavy loads within the fulfillment center.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure stock levels are up to date for the next shift.
- Packaging: Properly package items to prevent damage during transit, ensuring all safety regulations are followed.
- Keep the Facility Clean: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area at all times to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with Team: Communicate effectively with team leads and coworkers to meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 49 lbs repeatedly, stand/walk for long periods, and work in various temperature conditions.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn to operate handheld scanning devices quickly.
- Schedule: Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
