Responsibilities
- Safely operate warehouse equipment (provided by Amazon) including pallet jacks, forklifts, and conveyor systems
- Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders while maintaining quality standards
- Perform inventory counts and stock replenishment tasks using provided handheld scanners
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following Amazon's 5S methodology
- Adhere to all safety protocols and operational guidelines for equipment usage
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency
Qualifications
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds with provided equipment assistance
- Basic computer literacy for operating warehouse management systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment processes
- Valid work authorization and ability to pass background check
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required
- Flexibility to work in varying warehouse conditions (temperature-controlled areas available)
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment with provided safety gear
- Ability to work overtime during peak seasons as needed
