Responsibilities
- Receive and Inspect: Receive incoming merchandise, inspect for damage, and prepare items for processing.
- Pick and Pack: Efficiently pick items from inventory and package them for shipment to customers.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are organized and accessible.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet quality standards before leaving the warehouse.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 49 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred but not always required.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
