Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage and oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and train a diverse team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety and productivity.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and manage inventory discrepancies to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in logistics workflows and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare and analyze operational reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy and turnaround times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certification is mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and MS Office Suite.
- Leadership: Strong proven track record of leading teams and managing conflict effectively.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in various weather conditions (loading docks, etc.).
