Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff to uphold high performance standards.
- Enforce strict safety regulations and warehouse protocols to prevent accidents.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse facility.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding order status and inventory availability.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting, with 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong working knowledge of inventory management systems and software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Forklift certification and ability to operate warehouse machinery safely.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for inventory calculations and reporting.
