Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/warehouse zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage equipment safely
- Inspect and document product integrity using digital inventory systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in sub-zero environments
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration units
- Train new staff on cold storage safety procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Valid forklift certification and pallet jack operation skills
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic inventory management system proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper techniques
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
