Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated/freezer zones (-10°F to 45°F)
- Load/unload temperature-controlled trucks and palletize products efficiently
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in cold environments (certification provided)
- Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP protocols, sanitation standards, and OSHA safety guidelines
- Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for quality compliance and damage
- Collaborate with quality control team on temperature deviation resolutions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain company training
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license preferred
