Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature and humidity controls in refrigerated/freezer environments (-10°F to 45°F)
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and temperature monitoring systems
- Execute inventory management tasks using RF scanning technology
- Load/unload temperature-controlled shipments following HACCP protocols
- Conduct routine sanitation and facility maintenance checks
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs in compliance with FDA regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in sub-zero environments
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to complete training
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
