Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts for inventory movement
- Perform quality checks on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols (HACCP)
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts using WMS systems
- Maintain detailed logs for temperature monitoring and equipment checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F to -10°F)
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50lbs regularly
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- No prior cold storage experience necessary
- Must pass pre-employment background check
