Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature (-10°F to 40°F) and humidity control in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigerated transport vehicles safely
- Inspect, sort, and inventory perishable goods using barcode scanning systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks with temperature-sensitive products
- Complete daily sanitation and facility maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience required
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in 0°F-40°F environments
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to complete training
- Basic inventory management and barcode scanning skills
- Strong attention to detail and food safety knowledge
