Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated zones
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for efficient product movement
- Perform inventory counts and cycle checks in frozen/dry storage areas
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols and HACCP standards
- Sanitize equipment and facilities following USDA guidelines
- Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments for quality compliance
- Maintain accurate digital inventory records via WMS system
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 6+ months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures (20°F/-7°C) for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
