Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature control protocols for refrigerated storage units (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration monitoring systems
- Inspect and document product integrity using digital inventory management tools
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards in cold environments
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and reporting
- Manage FIFO inventory rotation in multi-zone cold storage facilities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or temperature-controlled warehouse
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Forklift certification (or ability to pass company training)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of food safety and handling regulations
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license
