Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) in sub-zero environments (-10°F to 30°F)
- Monitor and maintain cold storage inventory accuracy using RF scanners
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety protocols for perishable goods
- Perform quality control checks on incoming/outgoing shipments
- Collaborate with remote logistics team for real-time inventory updates
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
- Participate in monthly safety training via virtual sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in extreme cold conditions for extended periods
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Valid driver's license and clean background check
- Comfortable with remote communication tools (Slack, Zoom)
