Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated storage areas
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move perishable goods safely
- Conduct quality inspections and inventory audits using RF scanners
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all operations
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams for seamless logistics flow
- Document temperature logs and warehouse activities in digital systems
- Participate in monthly sanitation and facility maintenance procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification required
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand 8+ hours
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP/SQF)
- Experience with WMS inventory systems preferred
