Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for efficient inventory movement
- Inspect and record storage conditions daily using digital monitoring systems
- Load/unload refrigerated vehicles following strict safety protocols
- Perform quality checks on perishable goods before storage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping targets
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA standards at all times
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
