Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in cold storage zones with zero-visibility conditions
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures using digital control systems
- Inspect and sanitize equipment to comply with FDA safety standards
- Manage inventory rotation using FIFO methods in refrigerated warehouses
- Adhere to OSHA protocols for cold weather PPE and equipment operation
- Document temperature logs and inventory counts using WMS software
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in temperature-controlled warehousing
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety protocols
- Proficient with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Valid driver's license and clean background check
